Purchased a new Arctic 240ii liquid cooler, recently installed, and it’s maintaining 90+ idle temps. I’ve repositioned it but the issue persists.

Is it securely placed on the CPU? Is any adhesive required? What model of CPU do you have? Are there any issues detected? Have you made any changes in the BIOS settings?

I took off the sticker from the copper part of the cooler. The device I have is a Ryzen 5 3600, and it has run smoothly on the BIOs F60e ASUS B450 Elite WiFi. The photo I sent shows it differently than before.

Have you observed any issues while executing a program? It might be a bug, unless you can sense the temperature.

Airflow from the fans is noticeably strong. I checked the BIOS settings, but they keep increasing without any improvement. The cooler I had was performing better.

I don’t believe there’s anything wrong with what I’ve done.

It seems the cable might have been inserted into the incorrect pins. The cooler's 4/3 pin should connect to CPU fan header 1. If your AIO uses it as well, you might need to check the setup.

The cable connects a 4-pin header to the CPU and is plugged in. On my previous computer it had the same cooler, which made a water flow sound, but that machine doesn’t make a noise now. It could be a problem with this unit.

It might freeze if you don’t notice the pump or there’s a fault; the sound could simply stem from how it was installed. If a power cable is connected, is it plugged in?

I’m only plugging one cable into the CPU header to see how it affects performance. I’ll keep the original cooler for now.
