I recently assembled a new PC and have tried installing Windows 8.1 multiple times without encountering performance issues. I came across discussions suggesting that disabling AHCI Mode could improve installation speed. However, when I turned it off, my motherboard stopped recognizing the hard drive. Someone might have a solution or a method to optimize the setup. Please let me know if this applies to you or if you need further guidance.

Was es am ersten Mal so funktioniert, dass der Computer anschlägt? Vielleicht ist die Festplatte nicht richtig angeschlossen.

I've verified every connection, I'm using a hard drive, and it's been running for roughly an hour and a half with 64% usage.

The system powered up for the first time, but after that it became sluggish. I restarted it, checked the BIOS, and switched AHCI Mode off. At first it didn’t detect the hard drive.
