Hello, I've observed that when connecting my external HDD through USB, the PC takes about a minute to boot. Previously it was 71 seconds, but now it boots in under 10 seconds once the drives are connected. I understand this is because the motherboard checks the drives, but is there a way to prevent this? I know I can just unplug and plug them back in after booting, but with my current setup it feels like I have to move under my desk every time I want to turn on the PC. Can I adjust this setting in the BIOS? Definitely!

What is the configuration for boot order in BIOS? Have you considered turning off legacy boot or CSM?

I only have my C drive SSD configured as the boot priority. And I believe CSM is correct.

I had accomplished this, launching in less than ten seconds, thanks to their connection, which exceeded 60.

Checking the external devices one by one, verifying if they should start up first.
And even if it doesn’t boot from them, at least reading them is possible.
Focus on the boot sequence in your BIOS settings.

😊 Position the external HDD on your desk, ensuring it is not placed underneath it.
