Sup., I recently bought a new PC and it performs well in all the latest games. It runs smoothly except for one game that really frustrated me — Alone in the Dark. I have the original copy on my DVD with the serial key, and everything looks fine. However, when I launch the game, it just jumps to the menu. Trying to start a new game causes frequent loading issues and crashes. I’m not sure what to do. This game is also available on Steam, and my friend has it and it works perfectly. I suspect the problem might be related to Windows 10 since I haven’t tried it on that OS before. It worked fine on Windows 7. Please help! Thanks for reading.

You might have to install a patch to ensure the game functions properly on Windows 10.

It functions well on Windows 10. I purchased a Steam version, but it remains unchanged. I’m unsure what’s causing the issue.
