Ok.. lets start with what software you downloaded exactly. G-HUB? Options? Does the download at least complete? Can you start the installer? At what point does it fail? Do you get a failure message? Maybe screenshots?

I experienced this with GHUB. It seems like the DOTNETFX installation is missing. Which one should you investigate? Also, if you encounter a DLL error while navigating, it might be due to missing media extensions in Windows.
