Using the G903, a red light indicates low battery. Keep the charging cable connected for some time. It's still a lithium battery, so handling it properly is important; otherwise it may not last long. It feels like the battery is dead—try reconnecting and charging it for a while. It could work again. With modern devices, it's not wise to disconnect batteries without knowing what you're doing. Some units just stop functioning and need a reset before they operate properly. I'm not sure, but that could be the issue. (And this would be really bad if the case was damaged or one of the worst ways to make something obsolete.) If none of that helps, it might simply be faulty.
