Logitech G304 has a scroll wheel that moves up and down.
It occasionally moves upward while you scroll downward, causing it to jitter unpredictably—this is really frustrating, particularly in FPS games where it randomly switches weapons and even led me into a gunfight more than once. I've attempted to press the scroll wheel and looked for solutions, but nothing has resolved the issue. You're not alone, and I'm here to help. 20230903_222426.mp4
It's a problem, many Logitech and similar mice face this issue. Just swap the mouse.
Gently lift the mouse (there are likely many online tutorials for this). Examine the scroll wheel for any hairs, debris, or dust trapped inside. Clean thoroughly and reassemble carefully. The usual problem is foreign objects interfering with the sensor. Another frequent issue is wear on the wheel/sensor, requiring replacement. Unless you have a compatible mouse with a fresh wheel and some soldering expertise, it’s probably best to swap out the entire mouse.
