Logitech G Hub problems persist with Logi ignoring responses for extended periods.
Logitech released a version with 4000Hz on their G Hub, removing the ability to disable Gaming Surface Mode. Users now have only Auto or On options, making the mouse inoperable on glass surfaces for many. Discussions on Reddit span over four months. The software requires an internet connection to install and automatically updates to the latest version, even if older files are downloaded. Logitech hasn’t addressed this issue for several months. The mouse becomes unusable when Gaming Surface Mode is set to Auto or On without switching pads or devices. Anyone have solutions to restore functionality on glass? It worked perfectly before the 4K update. If the issue isn’t due to Surface Mode, it likely stems from firmware changes that enabled 4000Hz. Since Logitech hasn’t responded, assistance is needed.
Can you adjust the mouse settings for the glass surface? I recall needing to do that on my previous G502 model—it functioned properly once calibrated. It also worked with the older software versions before GHub.
i simply use a sheet of paper that’s been taped down, inexpensive to swap out after a short time or when it gets damaged.
