Login Problems on Remote Server Issue with accessing the remote server.
I'm working on setting up a network drive and facing issues with authentication. The server (server 2003) keeps rejecting my credentials even after double-checking. When I tried another employee's login, it worked fine. I visited the server in person but didn't find any clear errors in the logs. My credential manager shows I'm not logged in and hasn't been recently accessed. No changes detected. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Checked the access rights on the storage device. It's possible your account lacks the necessary privileges for the shared directory.

You're still running an old setup because it's what you have, but it's outdated and may not support current needs.
It uses a system that's similar in age to me. POS systems can be costly. Cloud solutions are around $100 per license each month, with a minimum of ten.
If you're using 2003 and XP, turning off SMB1 might be an option. Clearing credentials from the manager has worked before. Also, resetting server credentials or ensuring the account isn't locked out can help. Are you working in a domain environment?
Your user profile is linked to a domain. Clearing the login details from the credential manager and re-entering them previously worked. If you encounter a conflict, try connecting using serverhostname\yourserverusername on your machine.
