Login issue with your Rockstar account due to a security breach.
I have purchased and saved GTA 5 on Steam. Recently, I attempted to launch the game and was forced to log in using a different sign-in method. When I started, it asked me to enter my password for the email address hra2*****[email protected], which was not my actual email. After entering the correct password, it rejected me, claiming the password was incorrect and stating that my email wasn’t valid. When I reset the password, I didn’t receive a verification link for my correct Gmail address. I then tried creating a new account on Rockstar Club using the same email that had the game installed, changing my username to Ranveeer. However, when I logged in with that account, the system indicated Steam was linked to another account and suggested using that one. But I couldn’t access the new Ranveeer account, which didn’t have the game installed. What should I do? This is the original issue the game reported, and my original username is Ranvir26.
Your rockstar account password and possibly your main email address may have been stolen. First, update your primary email password to a strong new one and repeat this for any other accounts using the same credentials. Activate two-factor authentication. Without these steps, we won’t be able to assist you as the issue will recur. Once your accounts are secured, you’ll need to reach out to Rockstar support to recover your stolen account.
