My Ubuntu machine functions as a NAS and Plex server. The main SSD is connected separately, and I connect to the desktop from another PC using TigerVNC for updates and adjustments. This morning I entered and discovered that the OS SSD was nearly full—specifically, the syslog file reached 44 gigabytes. I searched online for details about this issue, but nothing came up. Most of the IP addresses in these logs are from Russia or Eastern Europe, suggesting my device may have been affected. Here are some sample entries from the syslog. Any assistance would be really helpful. - May 31 12:41:39

This serves as a strong illustration of why everyone ought to keep /var and even /var/log on separate partitions.
