Locked FPS HELP!
I secured my FPS at 224 using ASUS GPU TWEAK II, but now it won’t let me adjust it when I create a new profile. It automatically reverts to 224 FPS even after I try to reinstall or delete the program. After removing and reinstalling it, the lock still persists. I’m unsure what to do next. Please help.

Remove Tweak and then reinstall it. This will fully eliminate the GPU overclock.
You may also attempt to apply one of the standard presets. Navigate to expert mode, choose a different preset, and then opt for default.
Restarting the computer (when you chose tweak during startup) will cause Tweak to automatically utilize the most recent preset.

the padlock icon should be clicked right-click to make it gray (unlocked).
i attempted to delete it, but the icon remains gray and locked.
i also removed it from my pc along with the files, yet it stays locked.
even after changing the defaults and adjusting fps to 224, it reverts back to 224.

terry4536 mentioned the padlock icon should be right-clicked to change its color, making it gray (unlocked). I attempted to delete it, but it remained locked even after removing it from my PC and files. Even when adjusting settings, it returned to 224 FPS. Don't delete it; instead, go to Windows "Programs and Features" and uninstall Asus Tweak. Reinstall the program to resolve the issue. For extra security, perform a hard boot to clear any installed applications. (Use Windows shutdown to power off, disconnect the power supply for about 30 seconds, then reconnect and restart.)

thank you both for your help i used the uninstall software you told me to use and it worked thank you guys!
