We have 4 PCs with W11. 3 of them are totally fine to play Hulu in Chrome. Hulu also works on a smart TV. But one started to have issues a few months ago due to location service required. that PC is my newest and most powerful (Ryzen 7900/32GB). Most the time only a single person will watch Hulu. All other streaming (Netflix etc.) is fine. I enabled in Chrome what Hulu support says, and also tried in Brave browser with the same issue that Hulu can't get the location. in location settings the location service is off, and it says some settings are managed by your organization. i think that is at least part of the problem. This is a private PC and i installed W11 myself. My only other hint is, that my wife also uses this PC and installs stuff for her work/remoting in and it seems a bit buggered up. it is odd that: - only this PC is impacted - this worked fine for over a year some questions: - what could have caused that to work for over a year, but all of sudden to stop? - how can i enable location service? - what else would I have to allow or try to play Hulu? I was considering the nuclear option and re-install W11. But that is a big effort to get my wife's stuff all back set up again. So, before I do that, i wanted to try to fix it. Edit: i checked on one of the PCs that allows Hulu, and that has the dame location sharing setting disabled. So that likely isn't my problem.

Tada! I reset everything to the default and don’t remember the exact name of the tool I was using before. It seems O&O might not be the one I had used earlier, or something went wrong. Now Hulu is working again and my location settings are back to adjustable. I’m curious if I should ever use O&O again. At first, I tried it but couldn’t find the “location” option, so it must have been a different setting.
