Hi guys,
I assembled a new PC but am facing performance problems. The issue appears during Fortnite gameplay, with FPS dropping sharply from 240 to 80 and sometimes below 10. The screen freezes briefly, around half a second. Could you suggest tools and steps to help identify the root cause? Thanks.

There are a couple of possibilities to consider.
My initial thought is about background applications. Even with a powerful GPU, the CPU still plays a role, and constant interruptions could lead to issues.
The game also relies on network connectivity, which might cause lag. Examining your internet connection and ping levels over time could help identify the problem.
If you're experiencing poor ping from your local network, there may be limited options to fix it.
