I discovered a solid offer for a 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 SODIMM kit (used). I'm still figuring out how DDR5 functions in laptop modules—does it only fit on one side of the chip? Updated June 20, 2023 by DeyyuZ96
It's a 1x8 module as long as there are 8 chips, but 16 is better since it offers dual rank. Dual rank on DDR5 provides more benefits compared to DDR4, though gains are smaller than with dual rank on DDR4. You should only start concerned when there are just 4 chips left, which is not ideal.
its fine each black chip is 4gb there is also pc ram that looks the same too
