I'm searching for a good mid-range motherboard suited to your Ryzen 5 3600. I saw some Hardware Unboxed videos and MSI B550 boards, but prices in India are quite high—Hardware costs 230 USD and Gaming Plus adds another 198 USD. Some discussions don’t seem reliable, so I’m looking for downsides. The Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro is around 224 USD, which might be a better option. Let me know if you need advice. Thanks and happy new year!

If you're looking for a cost-effective board, there are also B450 choices to consider. Brands like Asus, AsRock, Gigabyte (likely MSI too) back the Ryzen 5000 series, giving you flexibility for future upgrades.

B450 remains a solid choice for you, while B550 could also handle upcoming Ryzen models like the 6000 series. This makes it wise not to overspend on a motherboard and avoid settling for a low-cost option.

Next Gen Ryzen is expected to use DDR5 memory modules and a brand-new socket design.

Actually, I wasn't aware of that. Your info is helpful. By the way, gaming and bad are not the same thing.

It's not the top choice, but it should work for the 3600 requirement.
