Adjust System Settings -> Fonts -> Force font DPI to 96 so the interface adapts with the fonts. Reboot or log in again for the changes to apply across the system. Check System Settings -> Notifications -> Application Settings -> Application for event configurations related to your theme. OpenJDK is the free Java version for Linux; avoid Oracle if you face Java issues. In a terminal, running "dmesg | grep error" might reveal relevant messages. KDE Neon offers newer updates but has basic settings out of the box. Kubuntu may suit beginners better, while Manjaro KDE provides a more modern experience. If using Ubuntu, the installer usually lets you switch or replace distributions. Switching to Manjaro could require manual steps to restore partitions.

jar files meant to open a dialog are failing to start, the scroll wheel on your Logitech wireless mouse behaves oddly even with the free spin wheel, and the notification widget displays this error: "Error loading QML file: ... module not installed."

Once you've saved ATLauncher.jar, open Terminal and apply the executable permission by executing the specified command. Remember to place atlauncher in its own folder since it creates multiple files on your desktop during the first run.

You can also right-click and adjust permissions, then check the executable option. If that fails, see what "java -jar ~/Desktop/ATLauncher.jar" outputs. Consider deleting the Plasma notifications folder and restarting. This is related to a Logitech mouse.

You can review the Piper GTK, as it appears in the supported devices list and might offer extra setup choices. https://github.com/libratbag/piper/
