Hi, I'm curious about files that work only on Linux. I know Mac apps appear as folders in Windows, which isn't compatible there, and files like Windows executables or batch files don't run on Mac. I'm wondering if there are any Linux-specific compatible types of files available. Thanks!

Some file systems are beyond Windows' capabilities, and BASH scripts won't function there.

Do you have a picture so I can understand what you're talking about visually? I want to make sure I see this from the right stand point.

It might be possible to demonstrate that Windows fails to identify it within Disk Management in Windows...

Using ext2/3/4 instead of NTFS prevents Windows from reading the drive, though Linux supports NTFS as well. There are bash scripts available, and multiple archive formats exist such as .tar.gz, .deb, and .dpkg.

I can display a placeholder image representing the location of your ext4-formatted drive.

I don’t have an ATM, yet all the ext file systems here aren’t recognized. It would appear in disk management but remain unreadable.
