I realize I might have mistyped something; it looks like the shift keys could be the issue. I moved to Windows and they seem fine. To display Linux login in plain text, just let me know.
I experienced a minor stroke in 2017, so I know the risks. As for your question, it depends on what you value most—brown, red, or blue switches. Each has its own benefits and preferences.
