Linux already supports CS:GO with Anti-Cheat, and it's expected to work well for other games too. Battle-eye is still working on adding support, and most developers are planning to enable it. With these steps, Linux gaming should reach almost full compatibility.

Epic recently revealed anti-cheat capabilities for Linux. While CS:GO is developed by Valve and isn't directly affected, the announcement highlights that Valve has been supporting Linux through their Steam initiative for a considerable time.

Epic Games has only allowed developers to turn it on now. If a developer doesn’t want to test or adjust it, nothing will change.
