I purchased an Optiplex 9020 SFF with Windows 10 already installed. Once the one-year period ends, I plan to switch to a Linux distribution and add a new SSD. Given my limited coding experience, I’m looking for a simple interface that’s easy to use. Should I install the SSD alongside the OS, or should I choose a different setup?

Windows 10 doesn’t have time limits built in, so perhaps you misinterpreted the warranty period or added-on software. Regardless, it should remain functional after a year.

Oh no! I feel completely defeated, but at least I understand now. Thank you all for the suggestions!
