I currently possess the Linksys WUSB6100M model, but the manufacturer states it isn't compatible with Linux. I'm looking for a newer version of Linux Mint 19 or Debian-based systems. Would you recommend another device? I'm unsure if there are official compatibility lists from Linux or Mint regarding adapters. For reference, I also have the Netgear N-300 USB adapter (WNA3100), but it seems I need internet access to configure it and a wrapper solution exists at the provided link. It appears too complicated to proceed with that device. I prefer something native or plug-and-play, preferably using USB or PCIe X1. My graphics card supports all X16 slots.
