Yesterday I performed a clean install of Linux Lite 7.0 on my machine, it worked fine then today morning I encountered frequent app crashes across Chrome, Firefox, File Manager and several others. I changed back to Zorin OS 17.2 today. I haven’t noticed such issues with Ubuntu, Zorin OS, or Linux Mint except for Linux Lite. Could you explain why so many applications stop working on Linux Lite? I’m using a Dell OptiPlex 5080 mini tower, AMD Radeon RX 640, i7-10700 CPU, 1 TB NVMe SSD and 32 GB RAM.

I’d prefer sticking to a stable distribution that meets my needs. All the ones you mentioned rely on Ubuntu, so what’s keeping you from choosing one that works better for you?
