Linux issue on your Asus Laptop R541UJ
I purchased the ASUS R541U-J with Endless OS installed. I removed the OS and installed Windows 10. Now I'm trying a Linux distribution, but it's not working. I successfully installed Ubuntu, but after some time the system monitor shows full CPU and RAM usage. It freezes after a while and won't respond. I can still use the notification center and taskbar, but I can't interact with them or shut it down. Windows 10 is functioning perfectly. I've also tried Fedora, Ubuntu with different flavors, Linux Mint, Open SUSE, but none have worked. I frequently change BIOS settings, enabling and disabling Secure Boot, and checking GTP and MBR combinations. Can anyone assist me?
