We've all encountered that video of Linus (Torvolds) openly criticizing Nvidia for not supporting Linux... It's hard to pinpoint who's responsible for the problem I'm facing. My setup includes a secondary display connected to my motherboard and the main one on my GTX1070. Everything functions properly in Windows 10, even with multiple screens. The issue lies in Linux only recognizing the GPU-connected display. Despite extensive research and changes—BIOS tweaks, driver updates, restarts—I still can't resolve it. My CPU is an i5-6600, the motherboard is from Asus (I don't have the documentation), and I've tried everything. The secondary monitor is an older model with only DVI/VGA support, while my graphics card has a DVI port. I only have a VGA cable and a VGA-to-DVI adapter. I'm considering getting a new monitor or using DP mode, but I'd prefer to fix it with software first before replacing hardware. Time is tight, and I'm trying to stay productive at work.
