I'm switching to Ubuntu 11.10 for a daily workstation that stays responsive during long study sessions. I'm flexible on other distros as long as they offer quick startup and reliable performance with Folding@Home. The main goal is controlling the fan speed on my GTX 760 using Linux. In Windows, I rely on OCGuru II, but I need a similar solution here.
