You can check winehq for their ratings under wine performance. They rank this title as bronze and this one as platinum. Most native games on Steam are older, though Rocket League, Alien: Isolation, and Mad Max are exceptions. When games move to the platform, they usually launch about a year after Windows. I suggest using Linux if you enjoy Rocket League and CSGO, and joining the Steam hardware surveys. If more people notice Linux usage, developers may be motivated to release more titles for it.

The link to Linux is stable and functions well, though results may vary depending on the distribution and setup. For Ubuntu, it’s important to grasp driver installation methods and how to use Wine correctly. Many users rush through installation, leading to frustration, especially when troubleshooting issues. It’s better to choose a path that suits your goals—either stick with Windows for simplicity or dive into Ubuntu for deeper learning. Understanding Linux can be valuable for programming and problem-solving, but it requires patience and practice. If you prefer quick results, Windows might be more appealing. Ultimately, focus on what matters most to you and avoid unnecessary complications.
