We could process one server at a time, alternating between EU and US servers. Syncing would happen during the transitions. It shouldn’t be too complicated to set up automatically.

It doesn’t seem very effective. The main thing to sync would be likely plugins, that’s the whole idea, because the teams on each server will change frequently.
