Hi everyone, I'm an IT tech at a high-tech company facing a problem with a user. When links sent via email arrive in Chrome, the uppercase letters get converted to lowercase, which prevents websites from opening properly. In Internet Explorer, the issue doesn't occur. I created a new profile for the user on his laptop, and it fixed the problem only in IE. After removing Chrome and reinstalling it with an admin account, the issue disappeared in IE but not in Chrome. It seems Chrome might leave some remnants after removal. Anyone else have encountered this? (Search results show two unresolved cases.) 10X

Initial idea is a leftover from a spam issue. Various malware often modify or disable links. Occasionally, partial virus removal leads to ongoing problems. Some users just encounter it as a minor glitch and might wait for a fix: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#...3qevCUmTxM
