They said I could set up my own hotspot in my room, but I don’t have another computer and I use a Mac, so it wasn’t possible. I considered using my Raspberry Pi to connect via Wi-Fi (802.1X) and then send the signal through an Ethernet port, linking it to my router—but I couldn’t get it to work. Do you know anything about this?
I focus more on the physical components rather than networking tools. I've worked with PCs, which is straightforward. That's something you'd need to discuss with someone who has experience with Raspberry Pis.
WiFi operates differently; it supports just one device at a time unless configured as a bridging access point, like in mesh networking setups.
