Hey everyone, I've been struggling to link my 1TB external hard drive to the router for a while. It worked before a Windows update (probably the anniversary one) and then suddenly it stopped connecting. I used to type "\\192.168.1.1\share" and it worked fine. Now Samba and USB sharing are disabled on the router, which might be why Microsoft has stopped those features for security. Any suggestions would be great!

They turned off SMBv1 because of security concerns. Check the router settings to enable sharing using SMBv2 or SMBv3.
