You can look up prices in India on websites like Myntra, Flipkart, Amazon India, or local e-commerce platforms.
You don’t require costly equipment; many routers compatible with OpenWRT work well for load balancing. Keep in mind this mainly boosts download speeds while uploads will still randomly select one of the WANs.
i don't know the exact kind of low-quality router your ISP is pushing you to use. in india, there are two main providers—jiofiber and i-on. i-on works with my archer c5400, but jiofiber uses a different kind of cable that only connects to their own router, which is gigabit but not very reliable. it struggles with more than three devices at once.
I'm not claiming your router will work, most ISP routers aren't built to handle OpenWRT, at least not easily. The notion of needing a costly device to balance multiple ISPs isn't accurate, though it does depend on the speeds you're considering. Even a Raspberry Pi with a few USB Ethernet adapters can handle it.
So I in theory cannot do anything without buying something as there is no software? Because I already have one Ethernet cable connected to my laptop from one isp and WiFi from the other
