I need to link several Wi-Fi action cameras to my laptop for remote streaming. The issue is they behave like routers instead of network devices. My plan is to use a Wi-Fi dongle for each camera so they connect independently. I’m wondering how to set this up together. The cameras I have are five each, using the stock internet adapter you linked in the links.

You're questioning whether a Wi-Fi dongle can make a difference since they already have Wi-Fi. You're also curious about the term "router" in this context.
