Link mouse and keyboard stealthily within Windows environment
I need to link the keyboard and mouse without triggering any detection tools in Windows. I'm trying to avoid showing up in Device Manager or similar systems. It seems like there might be a workaround, possibly by using a CDROM driver that appears as an installation media. Would changing the driver to display it that way help?
Yeah, not possible outside of some kind of malware that I doubt you’d be wanting to install on a work computer. Anything you do will be obvious to your IT people if they go looking.
Well, I could even handle hardware changes. One of my former coworkers shared that he used to plug in a wireless mouse and keyboard, then turned them off in Device Manager—it still worked. He also mentioned he hadn’t updated Windows for two years, and after IT did the update, it stopped functioning properly without him being informed.
