I own a logo or TCL 50s451 and a demon AV 3806, but the display setup isn’t working. The HDMI 2 isn’t connecting to the TV’s output. I’ve matched the HDMI cable to the TV, but the audio still doesn’t come through my speakers.

You're encountering some old tech here on the Denon side. The receiver won't pick up audio from the TV via HDMI. The smartest approach is to send audio through an optical port from the TV straight into the Denon. You don't need to link HDMI from your receiver to the TV at all. These receivers let you connect all your devices—like a VCR, DVD player, Xbox, or HTPC—to the receiver. The receiver manages the audio playback and sends video over HDMI Out. It also handles input switching automatically, so you don't have to change sources on the TV. Earlier versions of ARC didn't support this, but your Denon supports it, making it a better choice now. Just be aware that the Denon's older HDMI 1.1 ports will limit your options.
