In my home we installed a new router but faced problems with the previous one too. With six cameras set up around the house, they record and stream video when motion is detected. Even when I turned them off, internet speeds dropped drastically—from 150 Mbps to just 6 Mbps or worse, and sometimes the modem would disconnect entirely. My connection fluctuates between stable and very slow. My provider, Frontier, confirmed there were no issues on their side. I also use an app to monitor connected devices; we have around 27 users now. I've tried restarting the router, contacting my provider, and switching to a different model, but nothing seems to fix the problem.
