Lights activated on the voltage regulator
Lights activated on the voltage regulator
Hello friends
The voltage regulator I have (no UPS), just a regulator. It has three lights: green (Normal), yellow (AVR), and red (Overload).
The issue is that the green and yellow lights stay on together. This happens during stress tests or when the yellow light turns off and comes back on, especially if I make a small change to the graphics card settings.
What’s happening?
Could this damage my motherboard or any part?
I live in Venezuela where the electricity is unstable with big fluctuations, so I rely on this regulator.
Post data: Yesterday it didn’t happen like that. It occurs when the graphics card uses over 90% of its capacity.
If I had to estimate, that sounds typical. An automatic voltage regulator is expected to activate when necessary, which usually happens during stress tests, gaming, and overclocking. You’ll notice the yellow light blinking to indicate it’s functioning properly.
