I relocated during the summer and my computer began showing blue screens frequently. Recently it stopped turning on and displayed messages about fixing the C drive. A few days ago it wouldn’t even boot, though the lights were on. Before that everything had been functioning properly for years—specs include a 5800x Rtx 3070, X570 graphics, 3200 MHz clock, 32 GB LPDDR16 RAM.
The way the PC was moved might have caused something to detach. You could reposition components such as the GPU, checking that your CPU cooler stays secure if it’s bulky. With some UEFI/BIOS knowledge, you can verify detection there.
Is the operation mechanical? Does it show a warning yet fail to start? Likely an HDD or Windows problem. If you can't access BIOS, the issue probably lies with your hard drive or Windows. Verify all connections and cables. How was the PC moved? Were the GPU and CPU cooler removed correctly during transport? Is the RAM installed properly? Is the power outlet secure or does it share with other devices such as the AC, microwave, or freezer?
If none of the above solutions apply, consider reseating your CPU. Inspect the socket for any damage and examine the bottom of the CPU for any signs of harm. The problem might also stem from improper mounting pressure.
