I configured HWiNFO to launch automatically at startup and minimize it to the system tray yesterday. Today I booted up the PC, and the debug LED on the CPU lit up. After checking the cables, everything seemed properly connected. When I started the PC, it booted successfully. Is this a typical behavior with HWiNFO64, or what might have caused this?

I've relied on HWinfo for years and never encountered this issue before. Did you perhaps turn off the detections from Asetek or Corsair? These products often include warnings about this. Assuming you're definitely using one of them.

No, I didn't notice those; there was no warning and I'm using the stock cooler. It might have been a coincidence, but it felt odd since I've never experienced this before. I'm glad it started working again, though it was definitely strange.

Absolutely, it seems like a strange chance. I wouldn't believe it was connected at all.
