Light appears in VGA port following accidental power cut-off
I reside in a nation where electricity interruptions are frequent. When I power on my PC, the VGA red indicator vanishes instantly after a reboot—someone understands the reason? My system runs a Ryzen 7 9800X3D with RTX 5080, 32GB DDR5 memory at 6000MHz, paired with an X870e Aorus Pro Ice x1 and a 1300W PSU.
It seems you're pointing out that the red light is seldom seen. That's understandable.
The system started with Windows, and the VGA indicator remained visible during boot. It stayed on briefly before disappearing.
Is your screen in standby when the computer starts? Or do you need to switch it on and off yourself? If it takes too long to turn on and shows the VGA error light, it might be a software issue that can be fixed with a BIOS update. If you haven’t updated recently, consider doing so.
You're running smoothly on Windows with everything functioning normally, including gaming and the VGA light, but it vanishes when you restart. The light stays off after rebooting, and your monitor remains on. Your BIOS version is F6, and it looks like the latest update is F7—seems appropriate.
