Lga1200 connectors joined to the processor
Uncertain about the cause... The connectors on my Asus tuf 590 became stuck at the bottom of my 11900, were removed while taking out the CPU, and then came out. Someone might know what led to this. The fused parts fell off the CPU, but there was still enough left to try and boot Windows. The machine is functioning properly now.
It's unclear if this situation is realistic, but since both the CPU pads and socket pins are gold-plated, they might have formed a cold weld. This seems improbable given that several pins in a row achieved this, though gold is chosen for its resistance to oxidation, which typically prevents cold welding. Most motherboard makers don't permit RMAs on boards with damaged pins, but it's worth contacting them directly for advice.
