I'm trying to overclock the Core 2 Quad Q8300 with the BSEL mod. Most of the guides focus on Q6600 or CPUs with lower FSB speeds. Can this mod work with a 1333MHZ CPU?

I've only used it with a Q6600 on a board that had 800MHz FSB support. It never started, and the board stopped working too. A bit disappointing, but it was an older system I wasn't depending on for my primary setup.
