Review my previous message for details on specs and fixes I tried before settling on the PS5. Now that I’m here, the problem persists: switching between PC and PS5 causes all screens to freeze with whatever was on them or completely loses the signal. I restart the PC, but it works until switching back to PS5 and then back to PC again. I’m unsure if this is unique to the PS5 or also with the LGC9 combo, since I don’t have another console. My Nvidia Shield works perfectly during transitions. Any suggestions or insights would be really helpful.

Are you powering down the PS5 or just changing the input? If it's the latter, you might need to tweak the monitor settings. Also, look at the LG website for any screen updates.

I'm just changing the signals. I've checked all the TV settings, powered it off completely, reset it to its original factory settings, and kept it fully updated.

I’d check the power-saving options on the Windows side, since it’s possible the PC enters sleep mode and struggles to wake up while running the PS5. This is fairly typical. Navigate to Settings, choose Display settings, and set Screen Timeout to Never for both the system and the screen.

pc runs smoothly without hibernation or sleep settings, and fast startup is turned off.

You might attempt to turn off the HDMI-CEC feature on your PS/5 and television. This setting enables device control through HDMI signals. As an alternative, you can purchase a budget-friendly HDMI splitter. It typically offers three input ports and lets you change between them with a button press. If you prefer a more advanced option, there are models that include an IR remote for input switching.
