I'm considering switching to a limited plan. It would offer 4 Mbps down, 1 upload, and a 150 GB data allowance. I usually stream YouTube in 480p, but I don't expect to go higher even with the limited package—I'll likely use a net limiter to cap it at 1 Mbps. However, I plan to use all the speed on my PS4. I'm concerned about running out of quota before renewal and facing throttling speeds of 254 kbps. Would you recommend going for this upgrade? Am I likely to use up the entire 150 GB? Thanks a lot!

150GB seems small when you watch YouTube and play PS4 games. I’m not a gamer, but I watch videos every day. My connection is 350MB down and 20MB up, with 342.116GB used and 74.021GB uploaded this month. I don’t consider myself a heavy user.

It's usually safer to keep things as they are. Slower unlimited internet is preferable to faster limited internet.

they claim their connection is unlimited, but I once downloaded a large game that took a week. They told me I used more than average—five times—and then cut my speed to 254kbps. The coolest part? I was 20 days away from renewal and never download games on the limited plan (if it exists).
