Hi, I boosted the Xeon X5675 from 3GHz to 4.5GHz and it’s holding up well after daily use. According to AIDA64, it achieved a 44% increase and didn’t fail. That’s impressive—did you break any overclocking records? Also, with an aftermarket CPU cooler and temperatures capped at 90-95°C during full loads, your setup is performing solidly. Over three to four minutes of testing at high load looks great!
X5675 was an exceptionally powerful CPU available during its era. I previously cranked my X5690 up to 4500 MHz, and my top performance was around 4800MHz with a 1.6v air cooler.
That's great, no need to worry about breaking any records. Thanks!
