Lenovo Z50-70 battery
Lenovo Z50-70 battery
Hello there ; I purchased a new battery for my Lenovo Z50-70 because it is a lithium type and was advised to charge it for 8 hours. I almost forgot, so I didn’t do it. The battery died now, and I wanted it to charge for 8 hours. Does this have the same impact? The issue is that sometimes my laptop dies at 20 and then it stops working after only 5 percent remaining, even though it was showing 0 percent but still functioning. I thought this random behavior might be because it wasn’t calibrated properly from the start. I’m wondering if doing it now instead of the first time will fix the problem, or if it’s a battery issue.
You are able to perform the battery calibration whenever you wish. Be aware that if you purchased an inexpensive battery that isn't an authentic Lenovo model, it tends to have problems. Most affordable batteries I've bought failed within about a year, with some lasting only a month.
