Hello everyone, I’m using a Lenovo Yoga 7 14ARB with a Ryzen 7 6800u and 16GB DDR5 RAM. It worked well for about a year, but now it’s extremely slow. Even opening Windows Explorer takes several seconds. After a restart, it improves somewhat, though it’s still much slower than before. Certain programs, like SolidWorks, make the problem worse. The mouse lags and the interface stutters. I’ve updated all drivers to the latest versions, and the graphics driver is up to date (version 23.4.1). I’m familiar with computers but can’t pinpoint the issue. All fans run normally and there’s no overheating. The power-saving, performance, or balanced modes don’t help either. Lenovo Support suggested a factory reset, which I considered as a last resort, but I’d prefer not to do it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

How long does it take to start up? Your SSD (SATA or NVMe) could be failing, or some Windows system files might be damaged. It's not easy to say for sure.

It has a Kioxia KBG50ZNT1T02 1024gb PCIe SSD. The Crystal Disk Info Panel indicates 99% Good performance. Are there any methods to verify corrupted Windows files?
