The Y530 is officially limited to 16GB DIMMs, while your i7-8750H can handle up to 64GB. In theory, you could use two 32GB modules, but there may be compatibility or validation issues beyond the manufacturer's specifications.

If you ever require 64GB of RAM for some reason, it might be simpler to set up a desktop. Just to note, I currently have 32GB and rarely use more than 16GB, even with many open tabs. You don’t need that much space.
