You're thinking about starting with WoW. Pick a class that matches your playstyle—whether you prefer tanks, damage dealers, or support. Choose a side that fits your strategy and comfort level.

You’ve already purchased all expansions. Generally, every class performs well and offers similar abilities. However, skill varies a lot. For me, playing as caster, mage, or warlock felt more natural than roles like rogue or monk. If you prefer dealing with high damage, consider Mage, Warlock, Shadow Priest, Druid, or balance the options. For melee fighters, WW monk, rogues, feral druids, and SV hunters stand out. For support roles, try healer characters like Resto Shamy, disco priest, mw monk, or resto druid. If you want protection, go with Paladin or Warrior, and for tanking, Protection Paladin or Blood DK are great. Since the game is so simplified, it’s easy to decide.

You mentioned whether you prefer PvE (player vs environment) or PvP (player vs player). You’d likely choose Alliance, as there are more players on the team side. Also, since you’re from Slovakia, it seems you’re playing in Europe.

I'm from the EU and I played Warrior on WOTLK five years ago on a private server.

You've already purchased battlechest+Legion, right? I reached level 110 and it's quite solid. At least when I played a month ago, it was decent. I mostly focused on PvP and found it to be good, though not the top tier. I also tried PvE but didn't succeed.

Purchase the first battlechest and you’ll receive a free 30-day game period. Next, add the Legion for an extra 30 days of playtime. Alongside battlechest, you’ll get a complimentary instant 100-level boost. Legion also lets you progress 10 more levels, reaching 110. At this stage, you unlock honor talents exclusive to PvP scenarios like world PvP, BG, RBGs, and arenas. Artifact traits become available here, enhancing your PvE performance—though they don’t apply in PvP. During gameplay, you can accumulate up to 34 artifact traits, with a significant number available to unlock. Leveling up your artifact knowledge further increases trait gains at certain percentages. Legion excels in PvE content and storytelling, though it falls short in competitive PvP. The game offers a wealth of exploration, including dungeons, raids, and expansions like Mythic. You can also tackle normal, heroic, mythic, and Mythic dungeons, with the next level offering up to 12 additional levels.

And indeed, one more point. World of Warcraft remains the top MMORPG, yet thirteen years on, it’s losing its subscribers and support. Blizzard probably plans to shift focus toward Horizon Zero Dawn and Overwatch, areas WoW can’t match, causing the game to gradually fade. Many friends who played it now stick to private servers—often just as unoriginal as the original.
