I’ve managed to set up crashing to black screen at my discretion... But why does it happen? I upgraded to 32GB RAM Teamgroup Elite DDR5 2x16GB 4800MHz using Chrome. When I open a YouTube tab and play it on the first display, it works perfectly for as long as needed. Switching to another tab and keeping it on Display 2 causes the second screen to go black while the first stays active. This occurs even when playing different videos on the same screen or moving between them. After a full Memtest86 run lasting four hours with no errors, I switched back to the original 16GB RAM from the factory, and it functioned normally. With multiple videos and games running on various screens, the issue persists. My laptop specs: Legion 5 Pro 16IAH7H, i7-12700H RTX 3070 Ti, GPU with 8GB DDR6 (originally came with 16GB DDR5 4800MHz). Displays: 1 - 16" WQXGA (2560 x 1600) IPS165Hz; 2 - GIGABYTE M34WQ - 144 Hz.

I never located a solution to your query since my response matches yours, and I assumed the issue might be with the computer.

It's 2024 and I'm still facing the same issue with this exact PC. The problem lies with the RAM—32GB DDR5 4800 is fine, but it crashes after MemTest86. Replacing it with 16GB doesn't fix the issue. Someone might know what's going on.
